Is PA iLottery scam? Read our PAiLottery.com review 2019 to find out!

Pennsylvania iLottery (or PAiLottery.com for short) was launched not long ago in the middle of 2018. The site is owned and managed by the Pennsylvania Lottery, which is operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Available only in English, the site offers users the chance to try their luck in a variety of online games. In this PA iLottery review we will take a look at all the features that the site has to offer and see if it is worth visiting and playing through.

Lotteries Available

Amazingly, PAiLottery does not offer users the chance to play in any lottery. Instead it lets users try their luck a selection of online games for cash prizes. Games that are available through the website include:

How Does It Work?

Explaining how the site works is pretty simple considering that there are no logistics centred around purchasing lottery tickets. PA iLottery offers users the chance to play in what are called scratch-off games. According to the customer support agent we spoke with, scratch-off games are "similar to scratch cards. You remove an obscuring layer of opaque material from the ticket you've purchased to reveal the results underneath that determine whether or not you've won any money and what amount of money that may be."

To be able to play on PAiLottery.com, users need to first register a free user account on the website. This is easily completed using the register tab. Users will need to submit their standard details (name, address, email address, etc.) as well as the last four digits of their social security number for security and verification purposes. Also, during the registration process users are given the option to sign up for a standard account or a VIP account. VIP accounts are free to register and maintain and grant users access to the features available on PALottery.com as well as PAiLottery.com.

Is PAiLottery.com a Scam or Legit?

While PAiLottery.com is relatively new, the site is run and owned by the official state lottery of Pennsylvania and therefore is subject to all applicable state rules and regulations. This, mixed in with a pretty good online reputation and strong terms and conditions, leads us to believe that using PA iLottery is completely safe and secure.

User Experience

One thing to mention about PAiLottery.com is the site design and responsiveness. The site is modern and looks great, allowing users to quickly find what they are looking for and to navigate there with ease. It is also fully responsive to work on all mobile devices. All this combined leads to a flawless user experience that never leads to any frustration or annoyance with the site infrastructure.

PAiLottery.com Features

Due to the fact that PAiLottery is not ‘technically’ an online lottery website—it’s rather more of an online casino style site—it should come as no surprise that it doesn’t really offer any additional features. However, the site makes up for this by keeping things interesting using bonuses and promotions (read below regarding this).

Payment/Withdrawal Options

Payments to a user’s PAiLottery account can be easily done using one of the following four secure online methods:

  • ACH eCheck (EFT Payments)
  • Visa and MasterCard
  • PayPal
  • PayNearMe

Deposits are capped at a minimum of $10 and a maximum of $1,000 in a 24-hour period if using a Visa or MasterCard bank card.

Withdrawals are also easily processed from the user account settings. Only withdrawals over $10 are allowed to be processed and will be paid out using the user’s choice of either wire transfer or PayPal (a $10,000 limit per transaction is applicable to withdrawals made using PayPal). Payments are said to generally be processed and paid out within 72 hours of the user account being verified.

To verify an account, users will be required to submit identity documents as well as proof of account details for their selected withdrawal method.

How to Claim Your Winnings

Due to the fact that all the games offered on PA iLottery are almost instantaneous, users are not required to claim their winnings in any way. Instead, any winnings from any game that they are playing will automatically be credited to their account as soon as they have won the amount. The only exception to this is when the total prize amount is more than $2,500. In these cases, a hold is placed on the winnings due to state laws that require PA iLottery to first check if the winning user has any unpaid child support owing. Once it has been confirmed that nothing is outstanding, the winning amount will be credited to the player’s online profile.

Customer Support

PA iLottery boasts an impressive customer support offering that is split into the following sections:

  • Online knowledge base: With answers to the most frequently asked questions, PA iLottery’s online knowledge base is a good place to go for answers to almost all aspects of the site and the way in which it operates.
  • Live chat: Online chat with the support department is available 24/7. During our review, the support agents that we spoke to were professional, helpful, and happy to assist us even though we had a number of questions.
  • Phone: Toll-free calls can be made to 1-833-530-7529. The site does not, however, specify hours of operation.
  • Email: Email support can be reached using support@PAiLottery.com.

Welcome Bonus and Other Promotions

Bonuses and promotions are one place where PA iLottery shines. Below are some of their offers:

  • Welcome Bonus: New users are not only welcomed with $5.00 already loaded in their player account but can also claim a 100% first deposit match up to $100.00. When depositing for the first time they simply need to enter in the promo code ‘100DEP’ (case-sensitive), and their deposit will be matched.
  • Daily Promotions: PAiLottery also offers changing daily promotions that can be easily viewed from the home page of the site. These promotions offer a variety of bonuses from 20% cash back to a free $100.00 for 50 users per week.

The fact that PA iLottery offers these promotions as well as other revolving promotions brings an element of surprise to the site each time a user visits it and could easily keep players coming back for more.

Rules and Regulations

As with most online lottery sites where users stand a chance to win real money, player must be above the age of 18 in order to register an account or play on PAiLottery.com. In addition to this, all users must make use of the site from within the state lines of Pennsylvania.

PAiLottery.com Review – Conclusion

While the name PAiLottery.com may deceive users at first considering the site does not actually offer any lottery games, the site is still a great place to visit for players looking to spend some time playing fun games and possibly winning some extra cash. Great bonuses and an impressively responsive and well-designed site add to the fact that PAiLottery.com is well worth checking out—provided you live in Pennsylvania.

PAiLottery.com isn't a bad site if you live in Pennsylvania (which I do), but I find it weird that I can't buy tickets to LOTTERIES in it, so the name is pretty misleading. That being said, their are some pretty cool instant-win games on it for sure, some of which I like playing just for fun (demo play).
