How It Works

The first step is to create your own Lottoland account. Before signing up, make sure that you’re in the correct region. For example, if you live in the UK, you should sign up via their website. Simply fill up the form and submit it to become a Lottoland player.

Once you’re signed into your account, choose a lottery from the tab located on the homepage. You can either choose your own numbers or have the system randomly generate them for you. Once you’re satisfied with your picks, click on “Submit” to proceed to the checkout counter. Here you can add payment options and claim any promotion codes before finalizing your transaction. Details of your purchase will be sent to your email address.

Once your ticket is paid for, your numbers are stored in Lottoland’s system. You can view your existing tickets any time through your online Lottoland account. Unlike other lotto websites, Lottoland does not purchase tickets on your behalf. Instead, you are betting on the lottery’s outcome without entering the actual draw.

The system then checks winning numbers for the draw and if your numbers match the winning combination, you will be contacted by Lottoland using the contact details on your account. Since you are not entering the actual draw, your winnings will be paid directly by Lottoland itself.

Customer Support

The website has a large knowledge base that not only answers common questions, but guides users through some of the more common processes involved, from placing lotto bets to withdrawing winnings from their Lottoland account. There’s also a contact form you can fill out via the website to send in your queries, or you may email them directly at Live support is also an option, although the availability differs depending on what domain you are contacting from. For example, for Lottoland’s UK domain, the office hours for live support are 9am to 10pm (GMT) on Mondays to Fridays, and 9am to 4pm (GMT) during weekends.

Review Conclusion

Based from the look and feel of their website, we can tell Lottoland is one of the more stable lotto betting services around. From the sheer number of available lotteries to the number of games you can play either for money or for fun, it has something for everyone who wants to try out online gambling.

In the course of our review, we checked consumer reviews around the web and saw that a lot of people were complaining about the service’s methods. Calling it a “scam”, people believed that they were purchasing tickets for the actual draw, instead of betting on the draw’s outcome. Although Lottoland states that they don’t purchase tickets on your behalf and instead, you are betting on draw outcomes, this information is found both in the signup process and is well documented in the knowledge base. Maybe this information should be more visible, given how people don’t really take time to read terms and conditions before signing up.

Despite complaints due to that misunderstanding, Lottoland is one of the top lottery betting sites in the world, and certainly deserves a high position in our best online lottery sites ranking. Test your luck and you just might become the next massive jackpot winner.

Had a bit of a hiccup with this site when I first signed up, as it was supposed to take no more than 72 hours for them to verify my account. But it wasn’t until the end of the fourth day that I finally got the confirmation email from them and was able to start playing. Hopefully this isn’t a common issue for others, but it was a bit annoying for me. Anyways, now that I’ve been playing for a few weeks I’m mostly happy with the experience, although I’d be A LOT happier if I actually won something worth mentioning, haha. I’m still waiting for a good payout, but a friend who introduced me to the site won about four hundred quid, so it seems legit. Can’t comment on how withdrawals work with it just yet, but from my friend’s experience it was pretty smooth. Lack of personal winnings aside, it’s awesome to play lotto games that aren’t available locally—some of the jackpots are massive!
