LottoDay Review 2024

They say that each day is a gift, and perhaps that’s where online lottery betting service Lottoday.com got the inspiration for its name. Lottoday, which operates from Malta under the company Betpoint Group Limited, has a small but impressive range of international lotteries to choose from and is accessible in English only.

Keep reading our Lottoday review to find out how to use the site and what we think of its services, including whether we think it’s a scam or legit.

LottoDay.com Mobile Website

How Does Lottoday Work?

Lottoday allows you to bet on the results of a small number of international lotteries. You simply register yourself as a player on the site, choose your lottery, choose your numbers, and pay. If you want to shake it up and try your luck with a random selection, Lottoday has a ‘Quickpick’ feature which will choose numbers for you.

Is Lottoday a Scam or Legit?

The big question is can you as a player trust Lottoday? We think so, yes. The professional interface speaks to a company that takes itself seriously. It is authorised by Malta Gaming Authority and carries a Curacao Egaming License Validation licence, all of which add to its credibility. Moreover, Lottoday uses 128 SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) bit encryption to protect your data, including all personal details and any payment method information you provide.

User Experience

Sometimes, visiting a new website can feel like being a lost toddler in a mall. Not so with the LottoDay website, which is logically structured and easy to navigate, with a comprehensive and intensive Frequently Asked Questions page that covers almost everything you’ll need to know.

Though there isn’t a LottoDay app (yet), the site is primed for mobile use, and all the features work very well on the average smartphone. It’s also beautifully laid out with a smooth UI and has a bright but definitely not gaudy colour scheme, making it just that much more pleasurable to use.

Lotteries Available

The number of lotteries available on Lottoday are pretty limited, but at least they include most of the big ones:

  • US Powerball
  • Mega Millions
  • UK Lotto
  • EuroMillions
  • Euro Jackpot
  • Italy SuperEnalotto
  • Spain El Gordo
  • OZ Lotto
  • Australia Powerball
  • German Lotto 6 aus 49

Registration

Lottoday isn’t messing around. In order to verify your account, you need to provide a form of identification (such as driving license or national ID card), address verification (such as a tax bill or bank statement), and a verification of your source of payment, such as a bank statement.

You’re allowed to cover or conceal certain information in the interest of protecting your privacy and security, provided that the most critical information is still viable. For a full detailed list of everything Lottoday requires, see their Frequently Asked Questions.

If you don’t provide these documents within 72 hours after your first deposit and or wager, Lottoday warns that your account might be suspended.

Lottoday Features

  • Subscription

On LottoLucker, you can sign up for a subscription, which will automatically reapply your bet to every consecutive draw of a certain lottery until you cancel it. This saves you time and worry, and also comes with a significant discount. The minimum period for a subscription is 4 weeks. A similar option, called Multi-Draw, allows you to choose the exact amount of draws or weeks for which you’d like to subscribe.
  • Scratchcards

Lottoday clearly knows what players like, as it also spices up its offerings with digital scratch cards, which allow players to instantly win themselves a little loot, similar to the Games feature (see below).
  • Syndicates

Everything is better with friends, including online lotto betting. With the syndicate options that Lottoday offers, you can pool your money together with a group of other players and place several bets together, increasing your collective chance of winning. Lottoday preselects the numbers for syndicate groups, which could be seen as a pro or a con depending on how you chose to look at it. There’s no limit on how many shares you can buy in a syndicate.
  • Games

Remember when you were a kid and adults told you that if your chores weren’t fun, you should simply make a game out of them? Well, online lotto betting is fun enough already, but Lottoday decided to amp the fun up all the way and added a games feature to their site. The Lottoday games feature functions as a quick and simple way to win big without the long wait for a draw. The games, which have names such as Wolf Gold, 7 Piggies, and Monkey Madness, can be played in “Practice Play” or “Real Play” mode. If you win a prize on games, you’ll be notified immediately on screen within the game and your winnings will be credited to your Lottoday account.

Payment / Withdrawal Options

There are several payment and withdrawal options you can make use of when using Lottoday, including credit and debit card, Skrill, and Zimpler.

How to Claim Your Winnings

When you decide to cash out on your winnings, you simply navigate to the “Cashier” page Under “My Account” and select the amount you want to withdraw (anything equal to or above €50). Withdrawals take an average of 24 to 72 hours.

Customer Support

Like your friend who’s always down to chill, Lottoday encourages you to contact the Lottoday customer support with any questions, issues, or suggestions. You can email them at support@lottoday.com or give them a call on +44 808 164 1527. However, there’s no indication as to which hours and days you’ll be able to get through on, or how quickly you’ll receive a response.

Welcome Bonus and Other Promotions

Although some of the questions in the FAQ pertain to promotions, we couldn’t find any further information on any bonuses and promotions that Lottoday might offer.

Rules and Regulations

The biggest rule Lottoday operates by is requiring users to submit the identification documents mentioned earlier. Also, Lottoday’s services are not open to residents of the United States of America (sorry, Uncle Sam!), or to those under the legal betting age of 18 (sorry, kids!).

Lottoday Review - Conclusion

As a whole, Lottoday seems to balance professionalism with a taste for fun and games. We like the games feature, and the other wide range of extra features offered on the site. While lotto betting might not be for everyone and this particular site is not our favourite in our ranking of the top online lottery websites, it’s certainly worth trying out.

While I generally like what LottoDay has to offer and how they present everything, I wish they had more lotteries to choose from because sometimes my wife and I like to spice things up a bit. All in all, a good service but has room to improve IMHO.
