Random Lotto Picker App Review
Random number generation apps are popular amongst lottery players who are looking for easy ways to have numbers selected for them in the blink of an eye. In this Random Lotto Picker Android app review, we will be looking at one of the apps that supplies this unique market and examine its various features.
Random Lotto Picker is exactly what the name says it is. It is a random number generation app that will give you as many sets of random numbers as you could want. The app is easy to use and can generate as many or as few numbers as you require for whatever purpose—it doesn’t have to be just for lotteries after all.
Upon launching the app, you will be required to select certain settings in order to tell the app what number sequences it should generate. These settings include choosing the number range from which the numbers should be drawn, the amount of numbers that should be drawn, and the amount of bonus numbers that should be chosen.
Once you have selected your desired settings you simply need to click Pick and the app will display your randomly generated numbers. Main numbers are displayed in the main screen box, while bonus numbers are displayed in their own box near the top of the screen. If you would like to generate a new set of numbers with new settings, you simply need to tap the Reset arrow that will clear all settings that you have entered as well as any generated numbers.
During our tests the randomization algorithm performed solidly, and we were impressed with the way that the generated numbers were mixed. In all our tests we did not get any results that were overly similar to one another.
Number generation apps are notorious for not offering many features other than standard number generation. This generally leads to incredibly basic applications that only generate numbers using the settings that you as the user enter.
Random Lotto Picker does, however, offer a unique feature that not many other number generation applications do. This feature is a list of pre-set lotteries that automatically fills in the required generation settings for the selected lottery so that the numbers generated will be easy to play in the selected lottery. While this may seem like a pretty basic feature, we have only seen it in a few of the best lottery apps that we have reviewed, and it is definitely something that we think every number generation app could benefit from having.

User Interface & Usability
Generally, we would not be very complimentary about an app that is literally only one page—especially when said app has an install size of 55MB. However, the ‘one-page’ design used in Random Lotto Picker allows the app to function seamlessly. Mixed with the fact that the app design is neat (but certainly nothing pretty), shows you exactly what you need to see with no additional frills, and works well in full-view mode on newer devices, we feel that the developers can easily get away with designing an app where all functionality takes place on one page.
One thing to mention is that the app only works in landscape mode and will automatically rotate your device orientation after you launch it.
As well as Random Lotto Picker functions in other areas, it is dismal regarding annoying ads that keep popping up when using the app. On the home screen you may not see any ads displayed, but while using the app full-screen ads will appear with set timers that you will have to wait out in order to continue using the app.
These ads become more frequent as you use the app and will also begin to appear each time that you attempt to amend any of the settings that you have entered. While we do understand that ads allow the developer to allow free downloads of the app, the number of ads that appear in this app are, in our opinion, ridiculous. They could easily put us off from using the app if its number generation algorithm was not so solid.
Conclusion – Random Lotto Picker Review
Random Lotto Picker is one of the better number generation apps that we have come across. With a simple (to the point of basic) design and a great randomization algorithm, the app has many areas that it does well in. All this, however, is overshadowed by a truly horrid ad system that spams you with an excess of ads that is beyond what is acceptable and, believe it or not, no option to purchase the app to get rid of these annoying ads even if you wanted to.
