MoneyCroc Review 2024

There has been a developing trend in recent years of lottery websites that are entirely free to play. These websites are accessed by millions of players around the globe that all want to try their luck to try and win free money. MoneyCroc is one such website that has been around since 2012. Operated by owners unknown—literally—the site allows users to play for zero cost. In this MoneyCroc review, we will look at how the site operates, what it is all about, and, most importantly, whether you can trust it.

MoneyCroc ReviewLotteries Available

MoneyCroc features a very straightforward game that you can play in order to win your free prize. The highest prize that you can win on the site is a mere $50. However, depending on whether or not you would like to increase your odds of winning, you could only stand to win either $10 or $5.

How Does It Work?

Playing on MoneyCroc does not require you to register any player account—a great start! All that is needed is to visit the website. When viewing the home page, you will be presented with two images side by side. If each of these images has the same numbers and letters in them, then you are a winner—it is that simple.

An example of this is if you visit the website and get presented with two pictures that both have A8 displayed. If this is the case, you are a winner. If, however, the letters and numbers shown in the pictures do not match, then all you need to do is hit the ‘Try Again’ button, and you will be presented with a new set of pictures.

Players are allowed 50 chances per day to try their luck at matching the two pictures. This means that you will need to spend a decent chunk of your time on the site hitting ‘Try Again’ until you eventually become a winner.

Is MoneyCroc.com Legit or a Scam?

There is one thing that makes us incredibly nervous about MoneyCroc—the fact that there is no information anywhere online about who actually owns the website. Even doing a WHOIS lookup on the site returns nothing other than the fact that the owner paid to enable WhoisGuard in order to hide their details.

That being said, the website is free to play and—according to user testimonies—they do pay out money. So, considering there is not really anything to lose by playing (except a heap of time), we think that the site can be trusted until proven differently.

User Experience

We would usually look at a tonne of aspects in terms of user experience. However, MoneyCroc is such a simple website that there is not much to comment on. Navigating around the site (if you do ever want to venture past the home page) can be done quickly, but the site is pretty ugly to look at. It'll likely remind you of the old days of the World Wide Web back in the late 90s—and that's not a good thing.

MoneyCroc Mobile Site

More importantly, the site has a massive amount of ads (which fund all the prizes) that are displayed all over the place. These ads refresh each time that you request a new set of pictures and keep you bombarded with new adverts that will hopefully click-bait you into clicking one of them. If you are like us, you can ignore these ads entirely and just carry on trying to match the two images, but they are among the most annoying we've encountered among all the free lotteries we've reviewed.

MoneyCroc.com Extras

There are no extras per se on MoneyCroc. There is a free games section that supposedly allows you to play a few free online games. During our review we couldn’t get any of these to load. In addition to this, there is a paid games section that has a host of PC video games (which MoneyCroc states are their own) that can be purchased.

Payment/Withdrawal Options

Because the matching game is completely free to play, there are no payment methods to speak of. And, because you are not even required to register an account, it is clear there is no player account, which means that withdrawal options are also not needed.

How to Claim Your Winnings

If you are one of the lucky players to match your two images, then claiming your prize is as easy as hitting the ‘I Won $50’ button that is conveniently located alongside the ‘Try Again’ button. Doing this will navigate you to a screen where you will need to enter your email address. Your prize will supposedly be emailed to you in the form of an Amazon eVoucher within 24 hours.

Customer Support

There are no customer support options available on the website. Yes, you read that correctly. Not a single customer support option. The only form of customer support that is offered is a rudimentary FAQ section that answers the most basic of questions. Aside from this, players are on their own.

Welcome Bonuses/Promotions

There are no bonuses or promotions available on the website.

Rules and Regulations

While some sites hide a list of territories that are exempt from playing in their terms and conditions, MoneyCroc does not even have any terms and conditions visible on their website. Instead, they say that anybody from around the world can play on their site. The only requirement is that all players must be over the age of 18. That on its own is a cause for worry.

MoneyCroc.com Review Conclusion

What is better than getting free money? Not much if we are honest, but this ultimately comes down to how much patience you have. MoneyCroc seemingly loves giving away money to people, and we are not about to start complaining about that. So, if you have spare time in your day (and not just five minutes) and don’t mind being bombarded with ads, then this site may just be for you.

Alternatively, if you prefer playing in actual international lotteries, we recommend checking out the best online lottery companies instead. Personally, we’d rather pay a small fee to have a hassle-free chance at winning a big jackpot from a reputable lottery organization, but to each their own.
