Lotto Pro Review

What lengths would you be willing to go to in order to win the lottery? For many lotto players, buying tickets and hoping for the best is enough to find enjoyment in the game, even if it doesn’t always result in a return on their lottery investment. However, some players are so determined to win that they look to products that claim to be able to increase their odds of winning. One of the most popular products for players hoping for a guarantee on their lotto purchases is lottery software. In this Lotto Pro review, we’ll examine one of the oldest lottery software products available and let you know whether it’s worth a try.

WHAT IS LOTTO PRO?

Lotto Pro Lottery Software BoxLotto Pro is a lottery software program that is installed directly on your computer. It was created by the company Data Solutions way back in 1989. The original MS-DOS version was called Lotto Challenger, though the program was remade when Microsoft Windows became available, and the name was changed to Lotto Pro. This adjustment at the release of Microsoft Windows and the decades-old release date may explain why the website for this product is called WindowsLotto.com—a fact that at first made us wary, as it seemed that the marketers may have been trying to add legitimacy to its product by attempting to claim an association with the well-known operating system and its developer.

The software supports Pick-3, Pick-4, Pick-5, Pick-6, and Pick-7 lottery games as well as Keno games. It also contains up-to-date data on popular lottery games from the United States, Canada, the UK, and 16 other countries. If it’s missing games that users wish to follow, users can upload information to create their own database. The software helps choose numbers to play in the next lottery draw by using statistics from past draw results, making it a lottery number prediction product. It also offers access to over 225 lottery wheeling systems, which help players run all of the combinations of a given set of numbers. Lotto Pro lottery software runs on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10; there is no Mac OS X version.

HOW MUCH DOES LOTTO PRO COST?

Lotto Pro 30-Day GuaranteeLotto Pro is available on the WindowsLotto.com website for $34.95 USD, though when we visited we were immediately offered a 20% discount promo code, and the price was slashed to $29.95. It is unclear if this discount is offered all the time to help encourage impulse purchases, or if it is truly a limited-time offer. Users can pay with PayPal, credit card, or debit card. The one-time purchase entitles users to unlimited use of the product, unlimited access to future program updates, and unlimited program support. If users do not enjoy the product, they can take advantage of the 30-day money-back guarantee—no questions asked.

We have to applaud the developers of Lotto Pro for two things. First, they are offering the product at a very reasonable price. Whereas some very similar competitor products sell for hundreds of dollars—and others even have outrageous annual fees in this range—Lotto Pro’s one-time low-price price tag is extremely refreshing in a market that preys on the gullible without offering any real substance. Second, the 30-day money-back guarantee is a nice thing to have that should alleviate any concerns about trying it because, again, it is not something that all of the other companies' products offer.

LOTTO PRO REVIEW

Lotto Pro, despite the nearly 100-page user manual, is an easy-to-use program that offers users multiple options for choosing numbers. While the “smart number” option, which chooses the numbers for the user, is obviously the main draw, the software also offers a random number selection, and gives users access to statistical charts and graphs based on past winning number data if players wish to choose their own numbers based on historical draw information. The software also has filtering abilities that can limit the amount of odd or even numbers, eliminate allegedly unlucky number combinations, and more. Another helpful feature is that it allows users to print their number selection directly onto lottery bet slips using their home printer, instead of having to fill them out by hand.

Lotto Pro undoubtedly has some fun features that make it easier to keep track of past numbers and future lotto ticket combinations. However, there is one glaring issue with the software—it will not be able to accurately predict winning lottery numbers, no matter how many features it has. The website claims that the product helps gives users more control over the lottery, but while the graphs and charts might help people feel that way, the simple fact is that the lottery is a game of chance and is completely random.

Now, that’s not to say that the numbers you’ll get from using this software will be totally useless—after all, you might get lucky and they’ll happen to be the winning numbers. Just know that would be entirely a coincidence, because even if there are patterns that seem to emerge in lottery games over time, there’s no guarantee whether the results of the next draw will fall into this pattern—ultimately meaning the “patterns” can easily change at the drop of a hat. The consensus out there about the program is that you generally can't count on the numbers that Lotto Pro spits out for you, but if you're willing to put in a fair bit of analysis into the number options that it gives you, you're bound to get a lot more out of it.

BOTTOM LINE—IS LOTTO PRO A SCAM?

As far as lottery prediction software goes, Lotto Pro is a nicely designed product that can help users keep track of their numbers. However, that doesn’t mean that it will help increase users’ chances of winning the lottery. If you like trying to find patterns in random subsets of numbers, then you may find some enjoyment in this product, but if you’re looking for a product that is going to help you win big, then this is not for you.

Unfortunately, Lotto Pro, just like every other lottery prediction software, is ultimately a waste of money if you believe it will  consistently help you win. If you want to increase your odds of winning the lottery, the best thing you can do is buy more tickets—or better yet, join a lottery syndicate. Buying tickets in bulk is a guaranteed way to improve one’s odds of winning, and doing so via group play allows you to split the costs among a big group of people. That is certainly a smarter way to use that $29.95 that would have gone to buying this product.
