UK Competitions Review 2024

There are some websites that fill us with anticipation when we first stumble upon them or hear about them. We generally cannot wait to get logged onto these sites and see what they have to offer.

In this UKCompetitions.com review, we will look at a site that we were eager to check out. We will look at what the site offers and whether this site ended up matching our excitement or disappointing us.

UK Competitions ReviewHow Does UKCompetitions.com Work?

One thing you should know from the start is that UKCompetitions.com is a free sweepstakes website. This means that the site acts like a noticeboard that posts all the best free sweeps available in the UK.

UK Competitions doesn’t require you to register a user account. However, it recommends that you do so. This is because registered users have access to draws two weeks before non-registered-users, have a favourite competitions section, and gain access to the weekly newsletter.

If you want all these features, you can register by providing your name, email address, and an account password. After you have registered, you will need to follow a link in a confirmation email to activate your account.

Whether or not you register, you can browse the different prize categories to see what draws you would like to enter. There is a problem with this, however.

After searching every category on the site, we are forced to conclude that this site has been abandoned since the end of 2018 or early 2019.

This is pretty disappointing, considering this looked to be a good site.

Is UKCompetitions.com Legit or a Scam?

We are sure that UKCompetitions.com is, or was, a trustworthy website that offers legitimate draws and sweepstakes. However, considering that the site has been abandoned, this is irrelevant.

UKCompetitions.com Mobile SiteUser Experience

The website design is in no way modern. In fact, it is rather dated. However, it is incredibly user friendly, and you will have no problem getting around.

All prize categories are neatly listed in a vertical menu on the left side. All other navigation is achieved using the top menu bar.

The site also looks good on mobile devices for if you want to check out new draws while on the move.

Even though the site looks great, the fact that it is not being used makes this great usability pointless.

The fact that this infrastructure has been abandoned is one of the most disappointing things.

Lotteries Available

Rather than lotteries, there are 21 different prize categories for different sweepstake draws. We aren’t going to list all these considering the site is inactive.

UKCompetitions.com Extras

The site offers users a “Favourites” section to save all your best draws so that you can access them easily.

There is also a draw tracker that keeps track of which sweepstakes you have already entered.

Aside from these great features, there is a weekly newsletter that lets you know about the latest draws.

Finally, there is a blog that doesn’t seem to be working at all anymore.

Payment/Withdrawal Options

Because all the draws listed are free to enter, and membership to the site doesn’t cost anything, there are no payment or withdrawal options available.

How to Claim Your Winnings

The claims process is unique to each draw and is listed in the specific rules for each draw. These would generally be accessible when entering the sweep.

Customer Support

The only way to contact customer support is via the online form available. There are no other customer support options.

Rules and Regulations

UK Competitions doesn’t list any restrictions for members. However, it is assumed that only UK residents should register, as they are the target market.

UKCompetitions.com Review Conclusion

UKCompetitions.com seemed to be a solid website. As such, it is a shame that the site has been abandoned and left to just float in the vastness of the Internet.

If it were still active, we would encourage you to visit it immediately.

However, considering it is rather useless at the moment, we recommend that you take a look at some of the other free lottery websites.
