Contest Canada Review 2023

It is never the wrong time to win something for free. In fact, if we had the option to win something new every day, we would sign up for the chance immediately.

What would you do then if we told you that this scenario was actually a possibility? That you really could win something for free each day?

In this review, we will look at a site that gives you the chance to find various free draws. We will also look at how this site makes it possible to try and win something new each and every day of the week.

Contest Canada LogoHow Does Work? will be very familiar to you if you have ever visited any other free online sweepstakes websites. The site scours the Internet for the best in free draws and sweeps and collects all the most important details about them.

It then takes all this information and posts it on the site blog so that you can quickly and easily find all the best draws.

One of our favourite things about Contest Canada is that there is no need to register a user account before you can start using the site. Instead, you can simply access the site and start trying to win.

To start entering, all you need to do is look through the many prize categories for a prize that you are interested in getting your hands on. Once you have done so, click the entry link that is available on the listing.

Clicking this link will direct you to the official website of the company or brand that is hosting the draw. Here you can follow the onscreen prompts to enter the draw.

Is Legit or a Scam? has been in existence for over five years. It has a decent list of winners that have all won draws that they found through the site.

This, alongside the fact that the site only offers sweeps that are free to enter, makes us believe that it is entirely legitimate. But there is something more as well.

The fact that the site doesn’t require you to register a user account to access it is a massive plus in our books. This means that you don’t risk any loss by using the site.

Because you don’t even need to provide your email address to use the site, you don’t even have to worry about receiving excessive spam emails. This is usually the biggest worry when using sites like Contest Canada. Mobile SiteUser Experience

We have to admit that is not the prettiest site that we have ever come across. That is not to say, however, that it is ugly.

The site is developed using WordPress and is presented as a blog, with each draw representing a new blog post.

The graphics used by the site are of a decent quality, and the font used is clear to read against all the accent colours used.

However, the layout of the site is slightly clumsy and can be considered to be messy. This is especially true of the menus.

There is a top menu bar. This cannot be used for finding prize categories and the like. Instead, all the links that you would use most are located in a vertical menu on the screen’s right. This is somewhat annoying but can be overlooked.

The biggest issue that we have is the number of ads that appear everywhere you look. There are the usual ads on the sides of the site. However, there are also ads between every two draws listings. Some of these blend really well with the actual draw posts.

This means that you will need to actively look and see which posts are actual draws and which are merely ads. This can become irritating rather quickly.

Amazingly, these ads are not as prevalent when viewing the site on a mobile device. This is a surprise because the site doesn’t seem to be optimised for mobile and doesn’t display very well.

Lotteries Available

There are no lotteries offered by Contest Canada. Instead, as mentioned, there are multiple great draws that are free to enter. These are separated into the following prize categories:

  • Daily Contests
  • Auto Contests
  • Blog Contests
  • Books
  • Cash & Gift Cards
  • CD, DVD, & Blu-Rays
  • Collectables
  • Clothing & Jewellery
  • Electronics
  • Food
  • Furniture & Appliances
  • Health & Beauty
  • Home Improvements
  • Miscellaneous
  • Toys & Games
  • Travel
  • Under $100 Extras

The only extra available on the site is a daily newsletter. To receive this, you will need to provide your email address. This could lead to excessive emails, and you could get annoyed by receiving an email each day.

However, it is a great way to keep up to date with the latest new draws and sweeps.

Payment/Withdrawal Options

Because all the draws listed are free to enter, there are no payment methods available. Also, because there will never be a need to withdraw any winnings from the actual site, there are no withdrawal options.

How to Claim Your Winnings

Like with other sites, doesn’t stipulate the claims process for the draws. This is because it has nothing to do with the actual running of any of the draws.

Contest Canada doesn’t post the rules for each draw with the draw listing, unlike some other sites. This is something small that we think it could start doing that would significantly improve the user experience.

Instead, you will need to read through the rules of the sweep you want to enter to see what the claims process is. This is good to know if you become the lucky winner of the draw.

Customer Support

There is not much in terms of customer support. The only option to contact support is by using the online form provided.

There is no mention regarding how long you may need to wait for a reply from support. However, considering the site is just a notice board of draws organised by others, we are unsure why you would ever need to contact support. If you have specific questions about any contest, you’d be much better off emailing the host of that particular contest.

Welcome Bonuses/Promotions

There are no welcome bonuses or promotions listed on the site. This is not surprising considering the entire site is dedicated to promotions offering free prizes already.

Rules and Regulations

Contest Canada itself doesn’t have any rules or regulations relating to who can use the site or enter any of the draws posted on it.

However, each draw has its own restrictions on who can enter. These are generally listed on the entry page or in the rules for the draw. These restrictions may be based on your age, location, or a combination of the two. Review Conclusion

If you are in Canada and are looking for a site that shows you all the best draws available to you, then there is no doubt that you should visit

While there are small things that would greatly improve this site overall, especially in terms of usability, this is still a solid site.

After all, who is going to complain about a place that gives you access to hundreds of draws that are giving away prizes for free?
