Is BigFreeGiveaway.com scam? Read our BigFreeGiveaway review 2019 to find out!

BigFreeGiveaway.com ReviewThe number of free lottery websites has increased drastically over the last few years—to the extent that there is now a wide variety of choices for players looking to earn free money. Launched toward the end of 2017, Big Free Giveaway is one of the relatively new kids on the block. Operated by Settnet Limited, the site is only available in English. In this BigFreeGiveaway.com review, we will look at how the site operates and how you can use it to top up your wallet.

Lotteries Available

There are no lotteries supported by Big Free Giveaway. Instead, the site runs its own raffle draw once a week. Prizes for this draw are dependant on how many people visit the site each day and are also dependant on how many tickets are entered into each draw. Because of this, you will be disappointed if you are looking for massive jackpots. The highest jackpot in the history of the site was only €67.81, which was won back in 2017.

Luckily, any prizes that are not claimed by the winner are rolled over and added to the following week’s jackpot. This does help to increase the size of the jackpot, but not by much, so if you're looking for an official lottery that gives you the chance to win a life-changing amount of money, we recommend taking a look at the best lottery websites instead.

How Does it Work?

The process of Big Free Giveaway is actually pretty straightforward. To begin, you will need to register an account. This can be done by either using your email or by logging in using your Facebook account—an easier and quicker way to register.

Once you are registered, you will need to visit the site each day to claim your free raffle ticket into the draw. The most that you can accumulate for one draw by just visiting the site is seven entries. If you would like to earn more, you will need to refer friends and family to the site as well. For each person that you refer that registers an account, you will receive one extra ticket into that week’s draw.

After you have claimed all your entries into the draw, you will need to wait until 18:00 (GMT) on Saturday for the draw to be held. Results of the draw are posted on the site almost immediately afterwards.

Is BigFreeGiveaway.com Legit or a Scam?

Aside from the fact that the site has a rather comprehensive set of terms and conditions, there is one blindingly apparent reason as to why we do not think that the site is a scam in any way—it is free. There is no cost to use the website or to claim entries into a draw. The site also has strict conditions regarding the fact that they will not share your email address with any third parties. For all these reasons, we think that the site is entirely trustworthy and well worth the effort if you are looking for a bit of free money (even if it is not going to be very much).

BigFreeGiveaway Mobile SiteUser Experience

The website is designed and developed by a company called Day One Media. And we must say, they have done an outstanding job. The site is neat, simple, and modern. It is incredibly easy to navigate around thanks to the top menu bar and loads quickly and without any real lag. In addition, it is mobile-friendly, so you can still claim your tickets while you are on the move. While, unsurprisingly, there is no mobile application available for Android and iOS, the site works fine on mobile browsers.

There are ads on the website, which is no surprise considering these ads are what pay all the prizes. Thankfully, these ads are not obstructive to any part of the site, and it is relatively easy to ignore them while you navigate around.

BigFreeGiveaway.com Extras

As we suspected when first visiting the website, there are no extras or additional features on the site.

Payment/Withdrawal Options

Because the site is entirely free to use, there is no need for any payment methods.

Withdrawals are made securely through PayPal. You will need to log into your player account after registration and confirm what email address is linked to your PayPal account. If you do not have a PayPal account, you will be required to register for one, as this is the only way in which the site will pay out any winnings.

How to Claim Your Winnings

To claim your winnings, you will need to log onto the website to see if you are a winner. If you are lucky enough to be the winner of a draw, your player account will have a ‘Claim Prize’ button that will appear. Simply click on this button and follow the prompts to claim your prize.

You will only have up until the time of the following week’s draw in order to claim your prize. If you fail to claim it in this period, your prize will be forfeited, and the amount that you won will be added to the next draw’s total prize amount. The site does not say how long it takes for your prize to be paid out, but we assume that it will not be very long considering that prizes are paid via PayPal.

Customer Support

Aside from an online form for query submissions and a small FAQ section that only answers the most basic of questions, there is no customer support on the website. While we think that is a bit of a flaw of the site to not even to have a support email address listed, due to the nature of the site, we don’t foresee needing too much customer support.

Welcome Bonuses/Promotions

The site does not offer any welcome bonuses.

Rules and Regulations

There is only one condition to be able to use the site—all players must be 18 years of age or older.

BigFreeGiveaway.com Review Conclusion

As far as free lottery sites go, Big Free Giveaway is one of the better ones that we have seen, but we can’t help but wish the prizes on offer were bigger (even by just a small margin). While the rest of the site makes it worthwhile to enter into the draws if you have the patience to visit it every day—and free money is free money after all—lotto enthusiasts who don’t mind paying a little to play the world’s best lotteries would be much better off checking out the top online lottery companies.

I have played through many a free lottery site but this one is pretty disappointing since it just has the one weekly draw AND the prize is usually pretty small. No thanks. Pass.
